Abstract

The cause of the postural instability of Parkinson's disease (PD) is unknown. It is believed that the symptoms are due to unbalanced activations of limb and truncal muscles controlled by central vestibular organs in brain stem, basal ganglia, and etc. But nothing is known about the kinetic details of PD patients' postural instability.
